Sometimes, we feel like some of those clinics are more like factories, churning out mouthful after mouthful of assembly line work.
And that is our main problem with some cosmetic dentistry practices: agenda. If a dental patient walks into our clinic, they are going to be told exactly what they need. Our agenda is always going to be the preservation of your original teeth and bone structure for as long as possible. Sometimes this will entail fillings or a root canal. We may even fit you for braces. But we are going to try and preserve your natural smile for as long as we possibly can.
A “New Mouth” isn’t All it’s Cracked Up to Be
At too many cosmetic dentistry practices, the agenda is to give you a “new smile.” This often means making the decision to remove all of your natural teeth and replace them with dentures. Some even go overseas to get a mouth full of implants for a “bargain price.”
While both of these are great solutions for someone who really needs them, they should be a last resort.
